Vantablack, the world’s darkest material, is based on an innovative technology that absorbs
99.965% of the light that strikes it. Due to this special property, various
individuals such as artists would like to obtain it. However, because of rights
and licensing issues, it is not available. To remedy this situation, a UK
creator designed a paintable version of the material. Called “Black 3.0”, it is based on another
infrastructure. It has 98% light absorbency, a little less than the Vantablack.
Despite that, it is the darkest paint ever introduced.
