The British e-commerce
group has revealed that it has plans to expand its portfolio. It is considering
to buy Karen Millen and Coast.
Currently, these brands belong to the Icelandic bank Kaupthing. The firm was on
the way to bankruptcy at the beginning of the financial crisis. Since then, it
has been trying to sell its fashion brands. In 2011, it stopped the operations
for Karen Millen while Coast has been struggling for the last couple of
years. However, Boohoo
has not revealed much on its decision. It said that it will release more
information when appropriate.
