The e-commerce
website Groupon has introduced a membership program for its users. Called Groupon Select, it will give members
special customer discounts and insiders perks. To benefit from these, fans have
to settle a fee of $4.99 per month. The company advanced that this membership
system is designed to boost user engagement and increase purchase rates on
several products. Clients will be able to enjoy an additional discount of up to
25% on local activities, restaurants and spas. Groupon
revealed that member discounts are applied automatically. There is no need to
use a specific code during checkout.
