The firm Walmart
has announced that it is planning to expand its delivery services. As from this
fall, the membership-based Delivery Unlimited grocery service will be
rolled out to 1,400 stores across the US. This program costs $98 a year. It
allows members to benefit from unlimited deliveries. The company has added a
new strategy to attract consumers who are not part of this program. They will
be required to settle a ‘per-delivery’ fee. Janey
Whiteside, the chief customer officer at Walmart
advanced “with Delivery Unlimited, we’re providing incredible value for our
customers and leveraging our unique assets to save them both time and money”.
