Payment services: consumers still like to use cash

A study from J.D. Power Pulse has revealed that despite the growth of cashless payment services, consumers still like to utilise cash. This is because they want flexibility. As such, they advanced that restaurants and retailers must mandatorily accept fiduciary money. The main reason behind this is customers’ concerns on cybersecurity and data protection. Moreover, there have been several talks about unbanked and unbanked clients not being to utilise digital services. The study also shows that consumers of all ages support cash acceptance.
