Keeping up with innovations in the fintech sector, the Royal Mint has collaborated with two
financial firms. The partnership will help in the development of a solid gold payments card. It will be made from
source-traceable metals and is engraved with its owner’s name and signature.
The 18-carat gold card will give users several benefits. For instance, they
will be able to enjoy a Raris account with limitless spending
capabilities and zero foreign exchange and transaction fees. Moreover, the
system will have its own mobile app. The CEO of Royal
Mint advanced that this card is being introduced to serve “growing
consumer demands for unique and luxury payments cards”.
