Enhancing UX can greatly help online shopping business. This is because customers look for the most convenient way to buy an item and if they are able to complete a purchase easily and quickly, they will be more likely to shop from your brand again.

As such, online retailers should focus on time constraints. A common issue among shoppers is that they start buying their products late. However, they still look for the fastest delivery option because they are anxious about receiving their item on time. Various customers have abandoned a deal halfway through if they feel that their product will not be delivered on time. Thus, the merchant must communicate with the buyer to find out whether he/she is shopping for an occasion and if so, the delivery date is very important. During the festive season, timing is more significant than everything else. As such, you can offer faster delivery options to reassure your clients that their loved ones will receive their gift on time. Additionally, you must give them regular updates when the item is on its way.

In case the customer needs a product very quickly and you will not have the time for shipping procedures, the best idea would be to redirect him/her to one of your stores that is closer to their location so that they collect the product. Redirecting to another channel is better than losing a client.
