Students have a cooler way of paying their parking tickets now! According to a
press release, those at the University of
Alaska Anchorage campus can reduce or cover the cost of the fines with
peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The report revealed that the educational
institution has started this initiative to combat student hunger.
Officials advance that two 454 grams jars offer a $10 credit, three jars equal
to $35 credit and five jars are $60 credit. The university
will accept any unopened commercially produced nut butter-almond, cashew,
peanut butter or any flavour jam, jelly, marmalade or preserves.
