Parking tickets: University accepts PB&J as payment


Students have a cooler way of paying their parking tickets now! According to a press release, those at the University of Alaska Anchorage campus can reduce or cover the cost of the fines with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The report revealed that the educational institution has started this initiative to combat student hunger. Officials advance that two 454 grams jars offer a $10 credit, three jars equal to $35 credit and five jars are $60 credit. The university will accept any unopened commercially produced nut butter-almond, cashew, peanut butter or any flavour jam, jelly, marmalade or preserves.
