The coffee company Starbucks
has been investing a lot into new systems to make sure that it remains one of
the bests. Focussing on digital technologies, it has just opened its
first ‘Starbucks Pick-Up’. This is the first time that such a location is
implemented in the US. It encourages consumers to make purchases from its mobile app. The store is nearly half the
size of a regular cafe's 1,800 square feet. It does not have large seating
areas. However, its design is more modern than Starbucks’
cozier coffee shop aesthetic and a digital signage board will tell customers
the status of their order.
