You must have heard of subscriptions to newspapers or
streaming sites. This service is becoming available for Coca-Cola as well! The soft drink company has announced “The Insiders Club” which promises Coke
swag and new flavours. While this seem to be a
marketing strategy, some market watchers have advanced that the firm,
via this monthly subscription box, is “trying to reverse a recent and
unexpected 4 percent slide in brand value”. Besides Coca-Cola,
companies such as Arby’s and Dairy Queen, are testing the waters for this
service.
