E-payment: who uses mobile wallets?

A Statista survey revealed that the mobile wallet market is going to be worth $2.1trn by 2023. The number of people using these e-payment solutions has experienced a significant growth over the years. In 2017, 824 million consumers utilised these financial services across the globe. The study advanced that in the last three years, the number of mobile settlement users grew to 1.3 billion. The major user groups are millennials (aged between 23 and 38 years) and Gen Z (between 7 and 22 years old).
