As advanced in a previous article, Apple has recently
updated its Quick Look app with a
new feature that will make it easier for customers to purchase products. Learn
more about this in this article.
Thanks to the augmented
reality tool, if you are, for instance, browsing furniture on Wayfair, you
will be able to superimpose products in your surroundings which will allow you
to have an idea how a couch might look in your living room before buying it. This
will motivate clients to complete a purchase. Additionally, TechCrunch reports
that Apple will soon introduce a new spatial audio feature for Quick
Look. This will let users “get a feel for sound, [of] for example a speaker,
and will change depending on where one is standing in a room”. Moreover,
potential clients will have the ability of enquiring about products that they
are interested in more easily. They just have to pull up a customer support
chat to communicate with an agent.
Throughout the last few years, Apple has been making several
advancements in the augmented reality field. There have been reports that the
tech giant will soon introduce a headset that is capable of toggling between AR
and a more immersive virtual
reality environment.
