Cisco introduces a new financial program to help customers

Since a lot of customers are experiencing troubles right now, Cisco, which develops, manufactures and sells networking hardware, software, telecommunications equipment and other high-technology services and products, has introduced a financial program to help its clients.

The company announced that buyers will be able to defer 95% of their payments for new products until 2021. To cover financing for this effort, it is disbursing $2.5 billion. Thanks to this, consumers will have the opportunity to save their money and then, once the situation has improved and they are in a better position financially, they can settle their bill.

How does the new financial program work? Cisco customers will not have to spend any money for any software, hardware or services they buy for 90 days. The order must be placed till July 25. After this, they pay 1% in the total contract value per month until the end of 2020. In 2021, monthly payments, as stipulated in their agreements, have to be completed.

According to Kristine Snow, president of Cisco Capital, customers wanted to know how the company could help them with their daily operations, such as working from home, in this time of uncertainty. She says that “They can acquire the technology now” and they already “know when and exactly how much” they have to pay.
