Even before the outbreak of Covid-19, the UK was set to become a cashless society with more people using online payment solutions. Retailers are not accepting cash and customers are opting for digital services. In fact, 63% of UK consumers revealed that they will be using contactless payment technology more in the short term due to health and safety concerns.
