7-Eleven tests Siri voice commands for fuel purchases

The international chain of convenience store 7-Eleven is testing some new technologies. The firm has launched a trial at select outlets that allows customers to process contactless fuel purchases. They just have to use Siri voice commands to do so. Thanks to this pilot, the company will be able to determine whether clients utilise Siri shortcuts on their Apple iPhone or mobile payment options using the 7Reward loyalty app through its application. To motivate customers, the company is offering 11 cents a gallon discounts on the first seven fill-ups at the pump to those using the app.
