Cashless payments might soon be the norm


For quite some years, people have been opting to conduct cashless payments instead of using cash. The popularity of electronic and online payment solutions implies that fiduciary money will no longer be king. To facilitate this process, many countries are introducing new measures to encourage customers to utilise digital settlement services. In Sweden, 900 out of the 1600 bank branches have stopped accepting cash deposits. According to statistics, various regions, such as North America, Europe or Emerging Asia are witnessing an increasing towards cashless transactions.
