Primark has finally announced that it is going to open its
stores on the 15th of June. While consumers could purchase from
other high street brands during the lockdown thanks to their online shopping websites, they could
not buy Primark items.
With its reopening, you can expect a mass rush in its outlets.
Even if there will be no ‘special discounts’, there will still be long queues
because the clothes on offer are usually very affordable. In 2014, the firm
revealed that it is not going to open an online store because of the low cost
of its products. John Bason, the finance chief at its parent company Associated
British Foods, said, “Look at a £2 T-shirt. Everyone thinks it’s clickety-click
but one third of clothes get returned”.
However, there is a way to buy some Primark items online. First of all, you can do so via eBay. As soon
as there is a surge of shoppers wanting to get their hands on the latest
popular items, sellers on the marketplace offer them at an inflated price.
The online store Asos Marketplace also offers Primark
clothes on its website. Additionally, Amazon
features some essentials from the brand. The page is packed with men's,
children's and women's clothing.
Primark
items can be bought via third party sites
