Walmart is collaborating with Shopify to launch a marketplace

The supermarket company Walmart has just announced that it is going to launch a marketplace. To do so, it has collaborated with Shopify. Together, they will roll out ‘Walmart Marketplace’, a selling platform. According to the vice president of the project, the retailer has been working on this for years and its goal is to give small and medium merchants a means to market their products. He says, “That's why we are joining forces with Shopify, an all-in-one commerce platform used by more than 1 million businesses, to open the Walmart Marketplace to their sellers”.
