An innovative store has been launched by Co-op in Kingsway, Hove near the King
Alfred Leisure Centre. The firm invested more than half a million pounds in the
site.
This outlet is different from traditional supermarkets. It
has been equipped with the latest tech. For instance, it runs on 100 per cent renewable
electricity and it has an internal cash
machine. A wide range of products is available at the outlet. You can get
fresh food from its bakery, Co-op’s free-form and Fair Trade ranges and its award-winning
wines, ready meals and pizzas, vegan items, food-to-go and everyday essentials.
Its main focus is going to be “fresh, healthy produce”.
Additionally, this firm is also going to have a ‘click
and collect’ service. Thanks to this, shoppers will have the opportunity to
order their products from home and then they just have to pick them up in
store. Moreover, this Co-op
has a membership program that allows you to obtain a 2p reward for every pound
you spend in the store. Another 2p is offered for each pound spent by members
shared among community causes. Tony Hatfield, the firm’s supermarket chain’s
area manager, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to make such a
significant investment in Hove”.
