The UK has a pretty solid fintech sector which has been designing innovative and secure payment
services for consumers. However, it has become even more popular following the
pandemic. A report from Finextra has
revealed that the coronavirus has accelerated digital adoption. Since more
people are using computerised financial solutions, investors are
disbursing more money into this industry.
For instance, between January and September 2020, London’s fintech
sector attracted $3.6 billion ($4.2 billion) in venture
capital investments, which puts the city in second place globally.
