Despite a lot of demand, Primark does not have an online store. This is mainly because the
firm would have to increase its prices to cater to additional fees related to
order fulfilment and delivery. While this is sad news for those loving the
brand, if you really want to get its items during the lockdown, there are
alternative ways to do so.
Many people are not aware of this, but the retail firm’s products
are available on other e-commerce
websites. However, there is a catch: they will be a little more costly. Since
stores are closed at the moment, these are the only options left. For instance,
on Amazon, you can find a limited selection of Primark items. Currently,
there are Disney blankets and Harry Potter Christmas decorations available.
Nonetheless, the retailer does not have a commercial partnership with the
e-commerce giant. That is why the products can be up to four times more
expensive. In fact, the brand confirmed this on their Facebook page last year.
It wrote, “Any Primark products which appear on the site are being re-sold by third
parties, at higher prices”. Some items can be found on eBay as well.
It is being reported that after the lockdown, Primark
wishes to keep its stores open for 24 hours a day in December.
