Walmart stops using inventory robots

The supermarket giant Walmart has just announced that it will stop using inventory robots. These usually scan shelves to make sure that products are in stock and that prices are correctly displayed. Indeed the firm has ended its partnership with Bossa Nova Robotics, the company behind these machines. This collaboration began in 2017 when the former decided to embrace automation. However, Walmart has advanced that it will continue using other robots in its stores. One example is the autonomous floor scrubbers, which are pretty useful during this pandemic.
