Carrier billing growth is accelerated by the pandemic

 

The carrier billing infrastructure is becoming increasingly popular. The adoption rate of this type of online payment service is considerably growing. Indeed, according to a study conducted by a firm offering alternative settlement solutions, half of the respondents ‘have or plan to implement’ this innovative method in 2021. Following the pandemic, there has been a global acceptance of direct operator billing. Moreover, the research has shown that mobile operators seek to offer their services in new markets which are not served by traditional financial services.
