More good news for shoppers. Considering that we are in the
busiest month of the year and that people have a lot to do. Sainsbury’s has announced that it is
going to extend shopping hours to make sure that everyone is able to get all
that they need for the Christmas season.
Between the 21st of December and the 23rd,
most of its supermarkets across the UK will welcome visitors as from 6 am till
midnight. However, the company is requesting customers not to shop with other
members of their household. This will reduce the queuing time to get in an
outlet and will make the shopping process
quicker and smoother. On Christmas Eve, it will remain open until 7pm. Nonetheless,
it will be closed for the holiday.
Those who manage to shop early, that is between December 4th
and 13th, will earn 10x Nectar points on longer life, store
cupboard products such as Christmas pudding, crackers and cranberry sauce.
Clodagh Moriarty, Retail and Digital Director at Sainsbury’s,
said: “In a year like no other, we want to do everything we can to help our
customers celebrate Christmas, making sure they have everything they need to
make the festive season as special as possible”. They also want to make sure
that customers are safe.
