Morrisons has a £30 food for a family of four

Since people are now relying more on digital services, companies have to come up with new ideas to ensure that they can serve the most number of consumers in an efficient satisfactory way. During the first lockdown, Morrisons came up with an innovative strategy. It worked out that if customers were willing to let the firm choose the ingredients and products to be delivered, they would be able to offer home delivery facilities to far more people in the UK in one day.

As such, it has introduced food boxes. First it began with basic staples that people could not access easily due to panic buying. Then, it expanded to more elaborate ranges. Now, customers have the opportunity to choose from a dozen of these bundles. The brand’s most popular and useful one is the family box. This contains everything that a family of four needs to make dinner from Monday to Friday. Those choosing to purchase a subscription have to pay only £28.50. As such, meals will cost £1.50 per head, including delivery.

Additionally, Morrisons has included recipe meals in the box. They will teach you how to cook spaghetti & meatballs, chilli con carne, veggie curry, cheesy leek and mushroom pie and warming sausage & butterbean bake.
