Online payments: merchants are investing more into digital channels

 

Since online payments are becoming increasingly popular, more and more merchants are investing into digital channels. Indeed, a growing number of customers are using cashless payment services. As such, it is normal that businesses have to spend more resources on these digital channels. 9 out of 10 businesses already have a strategy in place to improve consumer experience online. 47% of them introduced this since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and over a third are employing more people in a bid to enhance customer service which is incredibly important.
