Mobile wallets: their usage will increase by 2025

 

Fears of contamination from the coronavirus has led to more people using cashless payment solutions. Moreover, it is expected that the numbers are going to grow, specifically for mobile wallets. Indeed, as a research conducted by eMarketer has shown, the use of these payment solutions is on the rise. 50.1% of U.S. smartphone users will be using them to process financial transactions that they might have made with cash or credit and debit cards. These shoppers are aged 14 and older.
