Grocery shopping is made easier thanks to Lollipop AI

If ever, while grocery shopping, you think that the process is quite complicated and you wish for a feature that allows you to collect ingredients for a homemade meal based on recipes easily, then, you will be pleased to know that such a solution is now available. It has been developed by Lollipop AI.

This is a new British online grocery marketplace that is in its beta phase. It has been created by the serial UK entrepreneur behind successful start-ups such as Osper, Monzo and Curve. The founder and CEO of the company Tom Foster-Carter has planned to build a platform allowing people to build meal plans from recipes by gathering the ingredients automatically into their shopping basket. It is also going to suggest remaining household essentials.

According to Tom Foster-Carter, Lollipop AI will help people with their health goals, will improve their culinary skills and will minimise food waste. This marketplace is partnering with brands such as Sainsbury’s, BBC Good Food and other partners. With regards to fulfilment, this will be handled by retail partners. The business model will see Lollipop AI taking a small commission from partners. Selected advertising, such as those from CPG brand owners, will also be allowed.
