Mobile app: gain conversions thanks to reviews

One way to increase your mobile app conversions is via reviews. To get more people to download your application, you can ask existing users to leave recommendations on the two big app stores.

Another effective strategy is to include social proof as well. This is because Google looks at reviews to determine how to rank applications. The more positive feedback you have from customers, the greater are your chances to move up the ranks. As such, if you have a lot of praise-worthy recommendations and your application appears first for key search terms, it will be more noticeable to more users and this will increase conversion rates.  This is because if a visitor’s first impression of your brand is pages of positive reviews, he/she is more likely to take the next step and install your software.

You can easily build social proof thanks to the feedback from existing users. This is because when consumers download an app or visit a new website, they look for proof that other users are enjoying your products or services. There are several forms of social proof. They can be reviews on your landing pages and product catalogue or even trust seals that are added to contact forms and payment pages to show that you are a reliable firm that can be trusted.
