Asda has opened its Christmas delivery stores for customers

If you are already in the festive mood, you will be pleased to know that Asda has opened its Christmas delivery slots. Delivery Pass customers were able to access these first and other clients could enjoy them approximately a week later, on the 28th of October.

This follows the news that the supermarket company is going to employ 15000 staff to help existing staff during the busy Christmas period. The temporary workers will be deployed across stores and depots and they will assist with the home delivery service.

The firm has announced that 500 of the recruits will be based in depots, 1500 to deliver items to customers’ house and the rest will take care of operations in shops across the UK. The company is taking all these measures to make sure that consumers can have fun for the festivities. For instance, the new workers will help it provide shoppers with great products and an excellent service while they are making purchases, especially considering that the festive season is extremely hectic and busy.

Speaking about the new measures taken by the supermarket company, Hayley Tatum, the chief people officer at Asda, advanced, “We will do all we can to make sure customers have a fantastic Christmas”.
