Online shopping; ‘Down Your High Street’ supports retailers

While online shopping has proven to be convenient for consumers, that is not the case for retailers, especially those having a physical business. Indeed, with the lockdown, high street merchants have been struggling.

That is why ‘Down Your High Street’ has been created. It is an online platform that supports local shops. It helps independent retailers sell products to customers via the website. To join it, you have to be a brick and mortar store.

According to the firm, those who join the platform typically make up to £500 within the first month and some have reported sales has high as £450,000 in 12 months. As such, leveraging it is a good business decision.

Moreover, to promote their business, the online platform has collaborated with the media company The Mirror. Those who sign up via the latter’s website before the 31st of October will join a draw. 10 winners will be selected at random. They will receive a year’s free subscription and commission-free sales from Down Your High Street. This means that merchants will not have any cost for 12 months. They will also win a Christmas campaign worth £5000.

If you are a high street retailer and you are still unsure about ‘Down Your High Street’, you can sign up for a 14-day free trial.
