Customers have been
complaining quite a bit about Tesco. Their frustration is in regards to
the Christmas delivery slots. Bookings opened for these on the 16th
of November for those who pay for Delivery Saver, a £7.99 subscription offering early access to the service.
However, they were forced to wait in virtual queues of up to 300,000 people,
even if they joined fairly early. This followed the high volumes of traffic on
the site. One customer said, “Looks like the Christmas shop will be done at
Asda again this year even though I’ve had deliveries from Tesco every other week”.
