Ecosystem or value for money: what is next for UK shoppers?

As previously mentioned in an article, the preservation of our ecosystem has become a priority for a large number of British shoppers thus impacting on their purchasing habits. Yet, on the other side of the spectrum, a separate study has investigated the pressing concept of “value for money” that many consumers are looping into as a result of the hiking cost of living in the UK post the lockdown days. In fact, data have revealed that 60% of the British citizens would rather choose budget-fitting food items rather than focusing on nature-friendly thus healthier options. Unfortunately for in-store retailers, this shopping mindset is acting beautifully for online sellers as some consumers claim to find more products at cheaper prices on the web!
