Mobile wallet: the darling of digital payments

The UK is once again showing how open-minded and open to novelties its people are as a survey has revealed just how digital payments are getting positive responses. For instance, the study has collected data stating that about sixty-two percent of locals would gladly trade making their card payments using a mobile wallet rather than having to complete their transactions physically.

In fact, the numbers have surpassed the 31% of users registered from the previous year and many tend to credit the covid-19 pandemic as the propeller for this contactless payment’s growth. Indeed, this factor cannot be overlooked as ninety percent of the locals have declared that using their digital devices to proceed casual payments during those lockdown days was more convenient while other eighty-six percent declared experiencing a sense of security when indulging in this method. Speaking of which, forty-two percent of the local consumer population had claimed that carrying around tangible cards was a total deal breaker, as it would not aspire safety.

Moreover, another major pro to consider when explaining the British’s inclination towards the cashless payment alternative is how environmentally-friendly the whole concept of validating e-settlements using a smartphone or smartwatch can be. In fact, when indulging in such facility, the absence of paper usage is meant to make us more self-aware of our expenses.
