E-payments: how many people are using mobile money services?

A recent report has revealed that the number of people processing e-payments via mobile money services is increasing. These payment gateways are proving to be convenient, easy and safe. Last year, there was a growth of 26% in the number of consumers using these innovative settlement methods. The report revealed that of the 1 billion registered accounts, 372 million were active. That is, they were accessed to shop online at least once every 90 days. This was disclosed by the GSMA in its annual State of the Industry Report.
