Since most people are buying items on the Web, Heinz has decided to launch its online
shop. Along with this, it has also introduced a delivery service.
This store will, at the beginning, sell canned products.
After a while, it is expected to expand to its sauces and roll out a bundle
filled with its baby goods as well. An original package of merchandise, called
‘Heinz to Home’, is already available now. It consists of 16 of the brand’s
cans: eight beans, four Hoops and four Cream of Tomato Soup and it can be
bought for £10. An additional £3.50 will be charged for postage and the bundle
will be delivered in within three days of online ordering.
Along with the launch of its e-commerce solution, Heinz is also planning to help essential
workers. It has collaborated with Blue Light Card, a discount service
for NHS, Emergency Services, Social Care Workers and Armed Forces. Members can
log in to their account and search for its offer to access a code allowing them
to benefit from free postage and priority shipping. The President of Kraft Heinz
Northern Europe advanced, “The shop is a first for us, and it comes in response
to stories we’ve all heard in the last few weeks. Stories about people
struggling to access food and basic necessities”.
