Online Shopping: Boundary Co-op’s system is working well

Many consumers are turning towards online shopping services because they are not able to visit shops. It seems as if Boundary Co-op has introduced an efficient and successful system.

The firm is continuing to keep busy at its food stores and it has taken more safety procedures to maintain social distancing. It has been focussing more on e-commerce. Besides that, the company’s General Manager Ryan Polnik has advanced that they have been operating a call in and delivery services for its clients in each of the 4 Food Store locations. The online system requires them to submit their grocery order on the firm’s website. It will be completed by Co-op staff. The packages can then be delivered or picked up.

Polnik also advanced these changes in its activities have been positively received by the public. It decreases the flow of traffic in its outlets and it helps increase safety for clients and employees. He says, “I think there’s been concerns from both the team members and our customers. So, I think it will definitely reduce the number of people in our Food Stores and of course respecting the social distancing of 2 metres”.  However, with the increase in orders, Boundary Co-op may not deliver the item on the same day.
