Square Enix is offering a free mask with purchases over $100

If you are into gaming, you will be interested to know that Square Enix is offering free masks which will be given to customers purchasing products worth more than $100.

Those regularly buying items on the firm’s online store will be able to receive this branded face mask easily. Fans were notified of this promotional offer by an email from the Final Fantasy publisher. It said, “Boost your vitality +1. Free** Square Enix members face mask with any physical order over $100!”. The online shop contains copies of video games, merchandise and other memorabilia.

The mask that is being given seems to be a simple black cloth monogrammed with the Square Enix Members logo. This is a loyalty scheme for the publisher’s US store. Many countries are requiring people to wear a face mask in public to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus. As a matter of fact, the promotional offer went live the same day the UK government recommended people now wear masks in shops and on public transport.

However, no details about the medical effectiveness of Square Enix’s masks have been revealed. It also seems as if this offer is limited to the US version of the online store
