Stop & Shop launches a new e-commerce experience

 

The grocer Stop & Shop is dedicated to helping communities by providing them more convenient options to purchase food and other pantry products. It is refreshing the way it operates to offer an innovating and seamless experience.

The firm has revealed that it has introduced new technologies to improve the digital experience for consumers. For instance, it has launched an e-commerce platform. It has also revamped its loyalty program called Stop & Shop GO Rewards. According to the company, these enhancements, added to the fact that it is increasing omnichannel capacity with the addition of three new warerooms and 50 more Pickup locations, will ensure a better experience and offer more opportunities for savings, whether you are in-store or purchasing online.

Previously, customers had to place their order via Peapod’s website or its app. Now, this can be done directly through Stop & Shop’s own e-commerce platform or its mobile application. The site allows clients to build their shopping list, buy products from the weekly digital circular, complete their order and choose either between delivery services or pickup options at their local store. Moreover, they will also be able to enjoy in-app and on-site promotions.
