As advanced in a previous article, Stop & Shop has been introducing new technologies to enhance the digital experience for customers. For instance, it has launched its own e-commerce website and app so that buyers can order online more easily. Those who have used Peapod before to purchase from the grocer do not have worry about the switch being complicated. Their account information, orders and history will automatically transition over to the recently-introduced Stop & Shop Pickup & Delivery platform. New customers have to create an account to begin shopping.
Additionally, Stop & Shop is offering its loyal clients
more opportunities to earn rewards. For instance, they will be able to save 15%
or more thanks to its GO Rewards.
This loyalty feature is already integrated in the firm’s e-commerce website and
mobile app. Customers will receive one point for each dollar spend
in-store and online. Previously, only gas rewards were available. However, now
these GO points can be converted into several prizes such as money off their
next grocery order or gas savings at Stop
& Shop fuel stations and participating Shell locations. Consumers
will also be pleased to know that the cash equivalent of these points can be
donated to their local food banks as well.
