Cash is becoming less popular in Europe

With the pandemic, it is no surprise that cash is becoming less popular in several parts of the world, including Europe. Indeed, consumers prefer to use cashless payment services. This has been revealed by a study conducted by Strategy&, which is the global strategy consulting arm of PwC. It was disclosed that only 36% of the respondents used fiduciary money to pay for an item. This is 7% percent less than last year. Instead, customers are using mobile apps, cards or e-wallets.
