As advanced in a previous article, Microsoft is going to launch two new devices early next year. According to Windows Central, they will have 11th Gen Intel processors and Intel’s Xe graphics support. Additionally, there are rumours that the Surface Laptop 4 will include AMD processor options. This is likely to be a custom Microsoft chip based on AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series. The tech giant has previously been working on processors of its laptops and it has been optimising CPU and GPU performance. Nonetheless, the chipset struggled in basic tasks like 4K video playback. We’ll just have to see if that is fixed now.
