Following its success during the first national lockdown, Morrisons has announced that it is
going to introduce its hot-food-to-go takeaway service again. This is a popular
facility that will be available in all of its 404 cafés.
Thanks to this, customers will be able to purchase a wide
variety of takeaway meals. Moreover, with the holidays coming up, there is also
a festive range. Thus, if you feeling a bit lazy to cook or you wish to treat
yourself to an easy meal or snack, Morrisons has got you covered. The new
additions include Christmas dinner
and pudding. The first option features a main of turkey, stuffing and pig in
blanket, roast and mashed potatoes, sprouts and carrots, a Yorkshire pudding,
gravy and cranberry sauce. The dessert is accompanied by a rich brandy sauce or
custard. There is also the option of getting a ‘Festive Afternoon Tea for Two’.
Besides these, the cafés serve British staples like Fish and Chips and bacon or
sausage sandwich and hot drinks.
If you wish to place an order, this can be done in person,
via Morrisons’
hotline on 0330 808 9733 or through the delivery company Deliveroo. All
of the items available are prepared by hand and packaged in cardboard takeaway
boxes.
