E-commerce: mobile wallets will make up 50% of digital operations

 

The rise in e-commerce is simultaneous with another growth, that of mobile wallets. More and more people are using this payment solution. It is proving to be extremely convenient for consumers using online shopping facilities. So much so that experts have predicted that it will account for more than 50% of all e-commerce transactions processed across the world by 2024. This growth also symbolises the decrease in usage of traditional settlement methods. For instance, cards and cash are losing their share; they are being used by fewer people.
