Introducing more and more changes to attract customers, Tesco has revealed a new addition to
its frozen food aisles.
The supermarket giant has collaborated with Pret A Manger so that its clients can
enjoy some of the café's tasty baked goods. For instance, they are able to
purchase frozen Classic All Butter, Chocolate Filled and Vegan Croissants in
its stores. These are ready to eat within just 30 minutes. Customers just have
to warm them up. These products will be available at all of the 700 Tesco outlets
across the UK.
A packet of six All
Butter and Vegan croissants is being retailed at £3 whereas a pack of six Chocolate-Filled
croissants is at £3.25. Speaking about this collaboration, the UK managing
direct of Pret A Manger said, “With millions sold yearly, we know how much our
customers love our croissants which is why I’m thrilled that we have been able
to launch our new frozen range”. She advanced that this marks an important
moment in making its products more accessible to a wider range of consumers.
Nonetheless, fans are a bit disappointed that almond croissants
are not available in Tesco
stores. In fact, this has given rise to quite a stir on social media. For
instance, a Twitter user wrote, “WHAT ABOUT ALMOND??”.
