We have an exciting news that might motivate you to visit
the high street once the lockdown is over. Browns
is opening a new ‘destination store’, featuring a restaurant, in London.
The shop is four storeys high and it occupies a 9149 sq ft
space inside a Grade II listed building at 39 Brook Street. This opening is
part of its relocation from London’s South Molton Street. What will customers
visiting this store enjoy? First of all, the ground floor has a ‘Focus’ area.
This is dedicated to exclusive capsule collections. When going upstairs, they
will find an immersive room embellished with oil paintings of Roman empresses
and centurions. Clients can also benefit from a Fragrance Corner, a shoe room, menswear, a fine jewellery section,
a style advisor and concierge services.
Moreover, if you wish to grab a bite, you can head to the
sustainable restaurant, ‘Native’. This features an interior courtyard garden,
with 100 per cent recycled marble tables and recycled cotton blankets made in
Cornwall, a sun-lit bar and a natty terrazzo flooring.
Speaking about this opening, an official at Browns
said, “I can’t think of a better way to honour our role in luxury fashion
over the past five decades, as well as set the tone for our next 50 years by
clearly placing our foot firmly in the future of luxury retail”.
