M&S is introducing new rules for the re-opening

Like many other retailers M&S is preparing for the re-opening on the 12th of April. For more than four months, shops have been dormant as a result of the second lockdown and now, with the green light from the government, the firm is planning to re-open all Clothing & Home spaces across its stores. Nonetheless, it has to make sure that things are safe for both its employees and customers. Thus, clients can expect to see several changes when they visit shops again.

Indeed, this has been confirmed by M&S itself who released a message explaining the new rules that will come into play. Let’s have a look at some of them. The first one involves bra fittings. To minimise contact as much as possible, customers will be able to choose from a contact-free bra fit or a virtual at-home appointment with an M&S expert via video if they do not wish to visit stores at all.

Moreover, the fashion retailer has introduced free next day pick up at over 800 stores via Click & Collect for orders processed before 8pm. M&S will also be testing new solutions such as Express Collection and Digital Check-In at approximately twenty stores. Thanks to these, customers will be able to pick up their orders more easily.
