Facebook rolls out new features to its messaging apps

The social media giant Facebook has been enhancing its apps with several features that will facilitate things for you. Recently, it has been updating its messaging applications.

One of them involves Instagram. It is a very useful tool that is related to direct messages. It has added a new ‘seen’ feature. As such, just by looking at your inbox you will know whether the person has seen your message. Thanks to this, you will not experience difficulties if you are waiting for someone to reply to you or you wish to know whether you are being ghosted.

Another feature has been added to Messenger. The firm has introduced a ‘swipe to archive’ gesture which will allow you to hide old chats more easily. At the same time, it has become less complicated to look at those conversations again. There is no need to waste time to search for them. Instead, you just have to head to a ‘menu’ item. This can be accessed by tapping on your profile photo.

Messenger has another useful update. It is an audio-related feature. Thanks to this, when you send a voice memo to a friend via the messaging app, you will not have to hold the record button. Instead, you just need to tap the mic icon. According to Facebook, this tool will be added to Instagram also.
