Typically,
Black Friday happens by the end of November and this year, it would have been
on the 28th. However, Amazon
has decided to treat its UK customers. It will launch the shopping event early
so that buyers are able to “save big ahead of the holiday season”
The deals
have been on offer since the 8th of November. As such, you can already
enjoy discounts of up to 40% on products belonging to several categories,
including fashion, home, beauty, toys and electronics. Moreover, there is 45%
off on Amazon’s popular devices like the Echo and Kindle. On specific
days throughout the month, top brands such as Bosch, Shark, Oral-B, KitchenAid
and Sony will have limited-time offers.
This move comes after researches showing that
most Brits do not intend to visit the high streets on Black Friday. It is being said that 85% plan to make purchases on
the Web for the shopping event.
Considering
that small businesses have been badly impacted during the pandemic, Amazon is
trying to support local merchants. It advances that there are several deals
available from the sellers and handmade artisans, and this will be the case
throughout the whole holiday season.
To support
small businesses and shop by region, you can go to the “Support Small
Storefront” section on Amazon where you can find Top-trending gifts and
stocking fillers from these merchants.
