France is
Europe’s second broadest e-commerce market. The overall income acquired via online
payments has been fulgurant within the recent years, pandemic included.
According to the statistics, the French e-commerce market would occupy about
15.3 percent of the entire European digital economy. Illustrated in numbers,
this would be equal to eighty-one point seven billion euros.
The
greatest ally of this digital transformation is in fact online shopping. French
people are very fond of making e-purchases as they can browse for the
best prices and get value for money on many products. For instance, it is a
common practice that online merchants would allow a discount retail as a
website in France tops the charts for organising the biggest flash sales. Moreover,
the concept of the Black Friday was twisted in a French touch. The ‘French Days’ encourage the rise of online
payments as this is a sales-driven online shopping spree!
